PITTSBURGH (AP) — Police say a teenager was found shot to death in Pittsburgh and four people were taken into custody nearby, two after a standoff that lasted for hours.

Officers and paramedics were called to the Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood shortly after 3 p.m. Friday and found the 17-year-old youth lying in the street. He was pronounced dead about a half-hour later at UPMC Presbyterian. The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office identified him as 17-year-old Taymer Donald.

Police said their investigation led them to a nearby home, where two people ran from the residence and were captured after brief foot pursuits. Two other people refused to surrender but eventually left the home after “some communication with officers.” A SWAT team cleared the house and found drugs and paraphernalia.
