What woman doesn’t love to pamper herself? Hair, nails, eyebrows, lashes, massages, and more are available at the new Supreme Beauty Bar.

Supreme Beauty Bar is located in Penn Hills at 11567 Frankstown Road. Owner, Danielle Green recently held a soft Pre-Grand Opening event Saturday Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at her new commercial location. The beauty bar will be fully open Oct. 22. Operation hours will be Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Green, who started doing hair inside her mother’s home, later went on to pursue a secondary education where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Multi-media and Design and a Master’s Degree in Business. Green landed a job with a credit union, where she worked for seven years; later decided to pursue entrepreneurship and left to start her own business.

“I chose to start Supreme Beauty Bar because we as African Americans truly struggle with properly taking care of our hair. Many of us grew up on perms and relaxers,” Green said. “As a young girl I got my hair done frequently, and got a perm at a very young age. One of the things that sets my business apart from other salons is the level of treatment and education. We care about making you look and feel the best that you could, and we understand the importance of educating women of color about hair care.”
