Westinghouse was a powerhouse in football under coach Pete Dimperio and from 1946 to 1966, the Bulldogs went to the City of Pittsburgh championship 21 years in a row and won 17 titles.
The Westinghouse high school of the late-70s was when fans saw the transition from legendary coach Dimperio to George A. “Spider” Webb and the winning tradition continued.
