A brilliant team that included, Violet Scott, founder and co-owner of Jade Earth Events, and Fred “FU” Underwood and Jaylee Lemon of ReFined Culture premiered an event called, “Phenomenal Open Mic”.

“It was a beautiful thing connecting with both teams. I will honestly say I am honored to even have them ask me to be apart of the event,” Underwood said.  “Being that I had so much on my plate leading to the event they pulled their weight and mine too. Jade Earth made sure everything was done and even when I admitted that I could not get something done, they were understanding.”

The Phenomenal Open Mic event took place at the Sherwood Event Center June 17. More than 70 people attended to see all the different performances and activities.

“I would love to be privileged enough to work with them again. Jaylee Lemon was amazing the way he got the runway models ready in such little time. Most of the models he met the same day and got them in great shape to walk like they had been walking for years,” Underwood said.

“We reached out to the artist through the flyer in general but relationships that grow from the artist is what helped bring everything together. Some artists in the show we already had been familiar with so it made it rather easy to communicate with them. Since it was an open mic the event is a beautiful time to let some of your stage fright bugs out,” Underwood said.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Neu World Charities. The event was sponsored by Neu World Charities, and hosted by Fred “FU” Underwood.

“I enjoyed combining with such a dynamic team. Fred and Jade are so great to work with, and the event was a testiment to how well we work together,” Lemon said.
