Three Citiparks Farmers Markets
JUNE—Squirrel Hill, Carrick and Beechview sites join four markets currently open All markets sell farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese and baked goods, while several locations also sell flowers, small gifts and gardening items. JUNE 1-15—EXHIBITS. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit. Opens June 11. Grounded in Fred Rogers’ landmark curriculum on social and emotional learning, this exhibit lets kids step into Daniel Tiger’s world and join him to explore some favorite places. Through January 17, 2017. Opening Weekend Activities: June 11-12:

Father’s Day CD Cards
June 8-11, 13-18—Create a one-of-a-kind gift for dad, grandpa, uncle or any special man in your life. Saturday Light Brigade staff will conduct an interview about that person and record it on a CD that can be decorated, affixed to a special card and brought home that day. Kids and adults can record alone or together and can also record a special song or poem that will be cherished for a lifetime. Recording sessions are on a first come, first served basis.
Father’s Day VoicePrints
June 12—Noon – 4 p.m. Say and display “I love you” by making a Voiceprint in the Saturday Light Brigade radio studio. Voice Prints feature a waveform depicting the unique sound of one’s voice that can be decorated, framed and taken home.

JUNE 10, Noon-1 pm Enjoy live jazz music throughout the museum! Lee Robinson has been an active participant on the local Jazz scene for more than 30 years.
Sensory Friendly Afternoon
June 14—Individuals with autism spectrum disorders and sensory processing disorders can enjoy a fun, friendly experience in a comfortable and accepting environment. Announcement and exhibit sound volume will be reduced, and sound reducing headphones will be available.
Mathew Tembo and the Afro Routes Band
June 18—A Benefit Concert for Surgicorps International Presented in partnership with Surgicorps International, the award-winning Afro-Pop and Reggae musician Mathew Tembo and the Afro Routes Band bring their unique sound to benefit Surgicorps’ life-changing surgeries in Zambia.
