ALWAYS A LINE DANCE

ALWAYS A LINE DANCE

After a brief hiatus the Pittsburgh Council of Men have resumed their schedule of yearly dances that give the seasoned crowd fun events to attend. On April 29, at the Comfort Inn in Penn Hills PCM hosted more than one hundred friends for an evening of dining, dancing and fun. They introduced their newest member Justin Baston and reintroduced long time members: Dan Brown (treasurer), Reggie Jackson, Michael James, Milton Oliver, Chrisp Perry (secretary), Clayton Robinson, Donald Trent (chaplin) and President Larry Victum.

PCM member Ira Ritter was a little under the weather and did not attend however his family and friends represented him well and donated a huge gift basket that was raffled off. Spotted in the crowd was Pittsburgh native Hubie Bryant, former wide receiver who played three seasons with the NFL, one for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1970 and the New England Patriots in 1971-1972.

On a more serious note PCM introduced Jacqueline Wilson, PhD, CEO of Three Rivers Adoption Council (TRAC) and she explained the mission of TRAC: to create and provide adoption opportunities and a range of services for all children growing up without permanent, caring families. PCM says future events will allow them to raise funds to contribute to groups like TRAC.

PCM says mark your calendars for their June 25, bowling party at Arcade Lanes.
