Juneteenth Flyerwb

The Juneteenth Festival will have live band entertainment, speakers, kids-fun-zone, vendors, contest, carnival activities, dance troupes and prizes.

Key Programs for the Festival are: June 17, 6 p.m.-10 p.m., “The Celebration of Life” Black Tie Honors Dinner at the Sheraton Hotel-Station Square;  June 18, 10 a.m., “Re-enactment of the Jubilee of Freemen Parade” starting from St. Benedict the Moor Church marching into Market Square; June 18, 2 p.m.-8 p.m. “Community Awareness Day” in Market Square; 1 p.m. “Commemorative Service” at Martin R. Delany Historic Market (Third & Market St.); “1000 Inter-faith Ministers Strong” segment; “Rock-the-Vote” non-partisan voters registration drive; June 19, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. “Pittsburgh’s Founders Day Service;” 2 p.m.-8 p.m. “Juneteenth Fest” in Market Square; “Mothers With a Voice” anti-violence ceremony; and “1000 Black Fathers/Families Strong,” Father’s Day program.
