Women’s History Month 2016 for Arlinda Moriarty, owner of Moriarty Consultants and numerous other businesses has been a rewarding and uplifting 31days.

Just this week she returned from Washington, D.C. from receiving recognition as a Walker’s Legacy Power50 Woman, March 25 she celebrated her 47th birthday and March 11 she spoke to a capacity crowd during the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship at Chatham University Business Leadership Breakfast. “What a month,” she said humbly noting that she is following her vision.

Based in Washington, DC, according to Walker’s Legacy Founder and CEO Natalie Madeira Cofield, a WLPower50 Woman is one who has provided inspiration, civic leadership, mentoring and more. “She is a business-minded professional or entrepreneur. She is powerful and most importantly she embodies the Walker’s Legacy mission.”

Founded in 2009, Walker’s Legacy named in honor of Madam C. J. Walker, the first self-made female millionaire in US history is a global woman in business collective designed to inspire enterprising women of all ages to walk into their professional passion and purpose.
