:10—The legends you see pictured above are quite literally some of the greatest players in Pittsburgh City League high school athletic history. A combination of the 2014 and 2015 Pittsburgh City League High School All Sports Hall of Fame Inductees. From left: Curtis Hefflin-Westinghouse, Ramone Hart-Perry, Ricky “Black Magic” Coleman-Schenley, Jennifer Bruce-Carrick, Coach George Webb-Westinghouse, Clarence Hopson-Schenley, Rod Rutherford-Perry, Coach Phyliss Jones-Westinghouse, Sam “Bam” Clancy-5th Ave., Ahmad Sheriff-Westinghouse, Darryl “DAP” Porter-Perry, Robert “Rock” Robinson-Schenley. “Pittsburgh…You Show Up!”

:09—Clearly there are those who are smarter than me. Not many, but some! So I’ll have to wait and see why former Vanderbilt Coach Kevin Stallings is a better choice than Brandon Knight for the Pitt head coaching job? No head coaching experience you say. Wasn’t Jamie Dixon an assistant coach when he got the job? And let’s not talk about his star status as a player there. His assistant position for the past eight years, his relationship with the current players…including Shelton Jeter, who, by the way, left Vanderbilt to come here. All that being said, HIS – SHIRT – IS – HANGING – IN – THE – RAFTERS. Are you kidding me. You don’t hire your own legend? Where is the Pitt pride we always hear so much about? C’mon man!!!
