Understanding Your Credit Report/Score
MARCH 30—The Business Institute of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania and the Small Business Development Center of the University of Pittsburgh will host “Understanding Your Credit Report/Score and Ways to Improve It” Workshop from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Koppers Building, 436 Seventh Ave., Downtown. Heather Murray, the manager of Education at Advantage Credit Counseling Service, will discuss how business owners get themselves into difficult positions and will help participants understand what really goes into one’s Credit Score, and share ways and techniques to improve it. WIL Power Panel and Happy Hour
MARCH 31—The CORO Pittsburgh Women in Leadership program will host the panel discussion on Women in Politics, 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Penn Brewery, 800 Vinial Street. The discussion will focus on barriers to political involvement, why women don’t run for office, and ways women can get involved without running. The cost is $25.
