Ashley Graham continues to show that you can slay sexily at any size. The plus-size lingerie model made waves as the cover model for Sports Illustrated and know is entering into April as Maxim Magazine’s first US plus-size model to grace the cover.
The curvaceous cover girl teases in a white button down showing off some leg and cleavage for their April 2016 issue. Rocking bedroom tresses she poses confidently on the cover, teasing viewers to take a peek inside.
While we love Ashley Graham and all the size sexy she represents, Maxim Magazine might not be as confident in their cover model. It’s clear that the magazine HEAVILY photoshopped her thick thighs. Perhaps they thought that a true size 16 wouldn’t sell and they had to slim her down a bit? While the fashion industry is making big strides (no pun intended), we still have a long way to go in size acceptance within the industry. Ashley Graham is beautiful AS IS and needs no photoshop in her slay campaign.
In the issue, Ashley discusses her business goals: which include taking a large piece of the $18 billion dollar plus size industry pie. She has hopes of hitting mogul status with inspirations from Jessica Simpson and former model Kathy Ireland. She also jokes, “My life, lately, is naked.”
From a swimsuit collection with Swimsuits For All, a collection being launched with Dress Barn and success with her lingerie line via Addition Elle (sales over $1M dollars), this model is setting the foundations for a very large empire.
