DEBBIE NORRELL

If I had a dollar for every person who told me they do not know where to buy the New Pittsburgh Courier I would have a nice little stash. I normally tell these people do you have a Giant Eagle near you or have you have been to a Barnes and Noble and the answer is always yes. I then explain that you can go there with your one dollar bill and buy the paper. Now that you have purchased the paper page through it until you come to the page with the subscription information, it is always on the second page at the bottom, now you won’t have to go in search of the New Pittsburgh Courier it will be delivered to your home. You actually save money my ordering a subscription.

Now that we have that out of the way I have something you residents of Penn Hills. One of the highpoints of the day for me is coming up and opening the mail. Last week I received something that at first glance looked like junk mail. Upon closer inspection it was very good information that I am going to share just in case you threw yours away. There is a new service for Penn Hills residents called “E–Waste Collection” and begins on April 1.
