LOUIS 'HOP' KENDRICK

LOUIS ‘HOP’ KENDRICK

I was in the grocery store and a woman walked up and stated that she was an avid reader of the New Pittsburgh Courier, and then she added that her and her husband did the best they could and their son still stumbled, its been difficult. My response was that your problem is one that an unbelievable number of families have encountered and there does not exist a simple overall answer to these difficulties. A number of parents have too frequently cried out “where did we go wrong” and the answer overwhelmingly is it is not your fault.

Daddy’s words have always resonated with me, he said, “if you ever have a family you will be obligated to do your absolute best by nurturing and caring for them and hopefully preparing them that when they reach the fork in the road of life that they will be able to determine if they want to go right or wrong.”
