PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Learning Hub will be launched with an information session hosted by Google Pittsburgh in Bakery Square this Thursday, October 8 at 5:30 p.m. Transitioning veterans and servicemembers are invited to learn about the Hub’s focus on providing certification for skills to improve employment opportunities through in-person and online instruction and, the upcoming 4-week business writing course starting October 20th. The Pittsburgh Learning Hub is the first project of Mayor Peduto’s Homefront Pittsburgh initiative.
During Thursday’s session Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald will welcome veterans and servicemembers interested in taking the Hub’s first course offering — high-impact business writing.
