Well, this is The Finish Line and not a more comparative statement to be had when talking about Charles “Buddy” Allie. When it comes to The Finish Line, few cross more times in first place than he does. And trust me, the rest of what I am about to tell you is the truth.

The World Masters Athletic Council has selected Charles Allie as the world’s best male track athlete in 2013 in the World Masters Division.  He was presented the award in Monaco this past November in the company of none other than the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt.

Allie won five gold medals in the XX World Masters Track and Field competitions held in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He won the 100m, 200m, 400m and ran the leg of two relay teams.

He is the current World Record Holder in the Outdoor 200m and 400m.

We leave this saga with the chant of the greatest of all time and remind you that you have just crossed over The Finish Line, but this time you crossed over with Buddy . . . Allie . . . Allie . . . Allie . . . Allieee !!!
