JJ: Me, too. Health literacy crosses all boundaries—age, race, gender and even insurance provider. Knowing that there are more than 60 organizations in Southwestern Pennsylvania that have the goal of building partnerships and providing tools and services to support health literacy is exciting. There is also a resource box on this page that provides helpful Web site links. It includes local and national resources about health literacy, medical information and the Affordable Care Act.

EB: I know I’ll be looking at those links! I learn something new every month. Next month we’re talking about smoking and lung cancer. I know that Pittsburgh has a high smoking rate, and I have a lot to say on that topic.

JJ: Thank you again for your time, Ms. Bush.
