If the Steelers don’t do something to jump start the offense it’s going to be a long, long, long season. There’s too much talent on offense for it to be so impotent.

Most felt because the rushing attack was terrible it allowed the defense to concentrate on stopping the passing attack. That’s not the case. The new Steelers will live and die with the passing game as long as Ben is at quarterback, so the passing game must click if the Steelers are to have any success. The passing game opens the game for the run. But our bread and butter are in the air. Not the ground.

Offensive coordinator Todd Haley has got to come up with something to take advantage of the fleet footed group of receivers he has as well as passing the ball to the backs if he has any who can catch it.

The Steelers have a long week to prepare for the Bengals, not playing again until Monday night. Right now the AFC North is all even at 0-4.
