Stevens said he was pleased with the overall tenor of the meeting.

“The atmosphere was positive and Mr. Fitzgerald was reasonably forthcoming in his answers,” said Stevens. “We were trying to focus on what elements of these equity issues the county can help with, so I was pleased to hear of the test prep for the county police exam at CCAC.

“I will forward a follow-up letter on the items we covered and some we didn’t like those professional service contracts so we can discuss them at the next quarterly meeting.”
