Chocolate is by far one of the most popular food items all over the world.

Not only is chocolate delicious, but it is nutrient rich, making it healthy for you. Made from cocoa beans, this heavenly food is a delectable option when trying to satisfy a sweet tooth while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and slim waist. Newer research suggests that dark chocolate is also actually good for the heart.

Would you be surprised to find out that eating more chocolate could actually be beneficial?

Just remember, all chocolate isn’t created equal nutrient wise. The more that the chocolate is processed, the lesser health benefits it retains. This is the reason that raw cacao products have gained such popularity lately, as they are considered super foods, with super benefits. Regular dark chocolate is also relatively healthy as it does not contain too many unhealthy added ingredients like high fructose corn syrup.

In fact, one research study showed that allowing the chocolate to melt in the mouth was more pleasurable than passionate kissing.
