“Bobby Jones Gospel,” the longest running original series on cable television, began taping its 33rd season on July 26.

For two consecutive weekends, gospel music legends like Pastor Shirley Caesar, The Rance Allen Group, Karen Clark Sheard, Richard Smallwood and new rising gospel music stars such as Jessica Reedy, Zie’l, Crystal Rucker, The Walls Family, The Singletons and more will take to the stage to celebrate the legacy of gospel music and the continuing success of the show.

Grammy Award winning  Bobby Jones Jr. will host the network’s flagship gospel program and welcome many special guests. Tamala Mann, Marvin Sapp, James Fortune & FIYA, Smokie Norful, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Lil’ Mo, Donald Lawrence, Shekinah Glory and many more have confirmed to perform this season.

In addition, Vickie Winans, Hezekiah Walker, Byron Cage and Vashawn Mitchell will participate as co-hosts with Dr. Bobby Jones. BET’s “Sunday Best” winners LeAndria Johnson, Joshua Rogers, Crystal Aikin and Y’Anna Crawley, will also grace the stage with performances.
