Please understand this is not an attack on Rachel Jeantel, this is just how I see it. I believe from what I have seen in the last two weeks that Jeantel will be the next Honey Boo Boo. She, too, may have a show complete with subtitles.

I’m not sure if appearing on Piers Morgan, Tom Joyner, Ricky Smiley, CNN and any other show that could book her is a good thing for her or not. Have you noticed that she has a different hairstyle for each appearance? Not only does she travel with an attorney but possibly a hair stylist or perhaps she is a gifted hair stylist. One commentator even mentioned that she put a picture of her nails on twitter, called them her “court nails.” Things that make you go hmmmm.

Reportedly her twitter account has been shut down, for now. I’m so sure a network is busy thinking about a show for RJ as we speak. If this happens don’t be mad, if they can build a show around pawn shops, storage lockers and wives who have never been married, why can’t Jeantel have her own show? Look at the “career” of other famous witnesses; Kato Kaelin, comes to mind. He was the infamous house guest of O.J. Simpson. He testified and now he has a resume full of defunct reality shows. Currently, he is hosting a radio show in California.

Jeantel will need an agent, and she should take advantage of the offer made by Tom Joyner (a full scholarship to a historically Black College). Ricky Smiley offered to buy her books for the first year of college and also take her to Target for “drawers” that would be panties or underwear. Ebony Steele, co-host of the Ricky Smiley show says she will be her mentor. Jeantel is a hot ticket right now and everyone is getting on board.

Note to Rachel: don’t let people make a fool out of you. Who knew that the death of your good friend would put you in the spotlight? Take advantage of the education and beware of people who want to stand in YOUR light. Many of them are users and leeches and when the spotlight dims so will their attention. Learn to read and get a good command of the English language. You were born and raised in Miami and having Haitian parents is not an excuse, at least not one that I am buying. You have to strike the iron while it is hot and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, contact Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers and be their next spokesperson. Look what it did for Jennifer Hudson. Start keeping a journal, there might be a movie deal or a book deal coming your way.  I think your show should be called “Being Rachel” and should follow you through your first year of college. I hope we will be able to see your growth into a beautiful young woman. Stay strong Rachel and make the best of your 15 minutes of fame.
