Bill and Noel having a great time at Ed’s Oldies Cabaret held at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood.
This week I visited the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, North Side Elks Lodge in the Hill District, Mitchell’s Bar in Oakland, Ava Lounge in East Liberty and Tim’s Bar in the Hill District.
My first stop was at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood where everyone in the city of Pittsburgh came to Ed’s Oldies Cabaret featuring Mighty Man on the 1’s and 2’s and plenty of dancing and partying to the oldies, but goodies.
My next stop was at the North Side Elks Lodge in the Hill District where the Lane family came together to celebrate the birthday of Raymond “Bakey” Lane who turned 80-years-old over the weekend.
My next stop was at Mitchell’s Bar in Oakland where people came out to listen to the smooth sounds on the jukebox and enjoy great food and drinks.
My next stop was the Ava Lounge in East Liberty where people got on stage for “Open Mic Night” featuring local talent from around the community.
My final destination was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where everyone came out to get their party and drink for the weekend and enjoy great music.
