Have you ever gone to a fashionable person’s home and were shocked by the lack of fashion in their house?

You know what I’m talking about lack luster sofas, worn out chairs and burnt out light bulbs. Fashion doesn’t stop with your wardrobe your home is your castle, your get away, your comfort zone but it doesn’t need to look like a worn out pair of slippers.

There are so many places to find fashionable things for the home. My favorites are T.J. Maxx, Marshals and Ross. Yes Ross Dress for Less has a great home good goods department and I have found the best chairs and accessories.

I don’t want to forget Home Goods either. They are a part of T.J. Maxx and Marshals Company but are strictly for the home. Don’t be afraid to shop on line if you like contemporary pieces. Sometimes you cannot find the unique in the store; it is so sad that most furniture stores go for the safe and not the fashionable.

Shopping on line for furniture is not for the faint of heart. You must know what you want and please know the dimensions of the area where it will reside and make sure it can fit through the door. You will need help getting the item in the house. The delivery truck for on line items does not set up. One of my favorites for fashionable furniture is, they will even send out a free fabric swatch. Take a look at the Chesterfield sofa in hot pink. If you don’t like pink, pick a color they customize.
