Panel Discussion/Reception

MARCH 15—The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh and the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh will host a Panel Discussion and Reception for the International Women’s Day 2012 Celebration from 4-6 p.m. at Point Park University’s GRW Theater, University Center, Wood St., Downtown. The theme is “Trafficking of Women and Girls: A Global Challenge in Our Own Backyard.” Community members will learn the conditions that give way to trafficking, and solutions and strategies to address the issue. Volleyball Tournament

MARCH 24—Five Starr Corporation and Champion Enterprises will host the 37th annual “Volley With the Stars” Volleyball Tournament from 12-6 p.m. at Penn Hills YMCA, Frankstown Ave., Penn Hills. Legacy Luncheon

MARCH 31—The Rankin/Mon Valley/ Pittsburgh Pa Section of the National Council of Negro Women will host its 3rd annual Legacy Awards Luncheon from 12-3 p.m. at Hosanna House, 807 Wallace Ave., Wilkinsburg.
