When hundreds entered the beautiful Edgewood Country Club Feb. 11, they were greeted by members of the Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund and the beautiful ambiance of the country club. The fire was roaring in the multiple fireplaces and there was a red carpet leading to the spot for a photo op by photographer Ahmad Sandidge. Guests enjoyed a reception before dinner and took the opportunity to shake off the cold weather.

THE MOTLEYS—Tom, Lillie and David Motley

Howard Russell and Eric Morris served as event co-chairs and welcomed guests prior to dinner. After a scrumptious meal, the men of KSEF recognized some of the outstanding contributors to their scholarship fund. KSEF Board President Rex Crawley, PhD, says they are elated to have a partnership with Penn State University and Robert Morris University, which allows them to award multiple full academic scholarships. Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter Polemarch Mike Dear said, “We thank our academic and corporate sponsors that offer of themselves to ensure that the KSEF vision is fulfilled each year.”

After dinner it was time to dance to the music of House of Soul. KSEF was the brainchild of Tom Motley Sr., past Polemarch of the Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
