The latest reality show doesn’t center on losing weight, or who is going to be voted off of the island, or what is in the storage locker, it focuses on the reality of finding great fashion at a bargain price for the New York consignment store Second Time Around.

Pittsburgh has not been short changed when it comes to fashion. On Nov. 26 at The Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum, “Wa Cha Ma Call It Creations” presented a fashion gala. The night was filled with shopping and witnessing the vast collection of Linda Whiters, Pittsburgh’s own fashion hunter. For decades Whiters has collected new and vintage clothing. Many fashionistas may remember her locations on Braddock Avenues in Homewood and in Braddock. Whiters is now located in Rossi’s Pop Up Market at 200 Loews Dr., North Versailles, spot number TH-16.

For those of you that don’t know, that is the former theater behind Wal-Mart in North Versailles, there is a lot of shopping and selling going on there every weekend. She is there on Saturdays and Sundays and sometimes on Fridays you can find her at the giant flea market in Rogers, Ohio.

The fashion show featured scenes like “wild wild west,” “black and yellow” and “the lady in red.” DJ Soulger provided the sound track, while Kim Landford was a smooth commentator. A diverse group of models gave great face as they strutted down the runway and showed off fashions with a unique flair.
