Salad Supper

SEPT. 30—The Fellowship of Christian Women from East End Churches will host a Salad Supper from 4-6 p.m. at East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. Prayer Breakfast

OCT. 1—Garden City United Methodist Church, 500 Laurel Dr., Monroeville, will host its 2nd Annual Women’s Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. at the Garden City Firehall #6, 600 Garden City Dr., Monroeville. The theme will be “Laws of the Harvest-Field & Faith.” Lynn Hayes-Freeland will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies and Pastor Marilynn Davis will be the featured speaker. Business Expo

Community Health Fair

OCT. 1—Baptist Temple Church, 7124 Race St., Homewood, will host a Community Health Fair. Several agencies will be on hand to present information, as well as free screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure and many more. There will be food and games.

Fall Revival

Pastoral Anniversary

OCT. 7—Temple of God Church, 505 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, will host its 22nd Pastoral Anniversary for Pastor Suffagan Bishop George W. Russsell and First Lady Minister Sandra Russell at 7 p.m. There will be a prayer service and a worship service at 8 p.m. with guest speaker is Suff. Bishop Thomas Ramsey of Rankin.
