Annual Conference

JULY 28—African Christian United Fellowship will host its Annual Conference at 5 p.m. at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 250 N. Highland Ave., East Liberty. Gospel Music Honors

JULY 30—The Beaver Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America will host and honor some of Beaver County & Vicinity’s Gospel Legends at 5 p.m. at Greater Faith Family Worship Center, 2033 Midland/Beaver Rd., Industry, Pa. The honorees are Anna Mae Brown, Elizabeth Carter, Connie Cook, Florence Cuspard, Fannie Farmer, Henrietta Freeman, Dolores Hickerson, Elder Curtis Lewis, Naomi Monteiro, Margie Walker and Christine Williford. There will be an old time Gospel Hour format featuring traditional hymns, spirituals and gospel music.
