On Feb. 12, at the Edgewood Country Club, The Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund of Western PA and the brothers of the Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. hosted the 20th annual Valentine’s Day Scholarship Ball.

More than 250 guests joined the brothers of KSEF, where Malcolm Blount is the Polemarch for cocktails, dinner and dancing. DJ Nate Da Phat kept the music playing and the Flo Wilson Band added to the mix.

HAVING A BALL—Not in order: Oliver Jackson, Bunnye Kemp, Deborah Harris, Mark Sloan III, Ernestine Harris with George, Daryle and Lindie Allen.

The ladies were stunning in beautiful gowns and many wore shades of red. The foyer of the Edgewood Country Club, complete with roaring fireplace, was the perfect place to mix and mingle and have a professional photo taken by Ahmad Sandidge.

Conveniently the colors of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, red and white, always compliment the Valentine’s Day theme. Event co-chairs Jeff Jackson, Ted Duncan and Tom Motley were on hand to greet guests.

The annual ball is just one of the many fundraisers that contribute to the KSEF/RMU/Penn State Scholarships.

KSEF will be presenting scholarships in June at their annual scholarship luncheon. Spotted enjoying the evening: Tajuana and Sam Stephenson, Larry and Melissa Pickett, Rex and Daria Crawley, Oliver and Bunny Kemp, Daryle and Lindie Allen and Fred and Michelle Crawford.
