Day of prayer

MARCH 4—East End Churches will host the World Day of Prayer Celebration at 11 a.m. at East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. Women from Lincoln Avenue Church of God, Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Baptist Temple and various Presbyterian churches will lead this year’s ecumenical service prayer and praise. Lunch will be served. Day trip

APRIL 16—Antioch Baptist Church, 322 Elizabeth St., Sewickley, will host a Day Bus Trip to the play Joseph from 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Sight and Sound Theater, 300 Hartman Bridge Rd., Lancaster. This is a trip to see the popular play based on the classic story of Joseph. Reservations are required and the cost is $70 for children, $96 for teens and $122 for adults, which includes dinner, transportation and the show ticket.
