Preparation course

OCT. 1—The Mercy Parish Nurse and Health Ministry will host a Parish Nurse Basic Preparation Course from 8:45 a.m.-6 p.m. at Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Rd., Churchill. Annual lecture

Prayer breakfast

Open house

OCT. 2—Judah Ministries International Worship Center, 525 Market St., McKeesport, will host an Open House from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This is to introduce their newly purchased building. Also, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. will be the start of their Saturday Evening Worship Services.

Drama ministry

OCT. 2—The Drama Ministry of Central Baptist Church, 2200 Wylie Ave., Hill District, will host “I Said Maybe Tomorrow: But Tomorrow May Be Too Late!” This show is based on the Bible’s book of Revelation. It will feature Teri Bridgett and Benjamin Blakey from the Kuntu Repertory Theater; Curtis Lewis Jr.; and the Central Baptist Church Gospel Jazz Drama Ministry Ensemble. The cost is $10. Pastoral anniversary

OCT. 9—Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1201 Hiland Ave., Coraopolis, will host the 3rd Annual Pastoral Anniversary Celebration at 5 p.m. The event is in celebration of Rev. Joseph I.
