This week I visited the Shadow Lounge in East Liberty, Club 21 in the Strip District, The Black Beauty Lounge in the Hill District, CJ’s in the Strip District and the Centre Avenue Outreach Center in the Hill District.
My first stop was the Black Beauty Lounge in the Hill District where karaoke was in full effect. Everyone came out to see if they could be a star for a day. It was a great time for everyone.

My next stop was the Centre Avenue Outreach Center in the Hill District where they held their annual National Health Awareness Day featuring R&B artist Artistree and many more. I have to shout out everyone who came out to support this event.
My next stop was Club 21 in the Strip District where Jamal Woodson and Mike Dean celebrated their birthdays in grand style with everyone from the ’Burgh. If you missed it, you really missed the party of the year. I have to shout out GQ who was on the 1’s and 2’s.
My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where Mike “The Punisher” was on the 1’s and 2’s doing his thing for the crowd. The dance floor was packed with everyone getting their party on while listening to the oldies but goodies.

My final destination was the Shadow Lounge in East Liberty where owners Justin Strong and Tim Guthrie aka DJ SMI, celebrated their 10th-year anniversary by having a block party for the whole city of Pittsburgh to come and celebrate. Everyone came out in full force to help them make history at this event. Artists who performed at the Shadow Lounge when it first opened also came back to perform at the block party. Thanks for all of the memories and may you have many more.
