Tedder celebrates first year at Union
APRIL 10—The Nurses Board of Metropolitan Baptist Church, 22 Sampsonia Way, North Side, will host their Nurses Ambassador Award Luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Churchill Valley Country Club, 800 Beulah Rd., Penn Hills. Symphony of voices
APRIL 10—The August Wilson Center for African American Culture will host “Sweet Inspiration: A Symphony of Voices” at 8 p.m. at 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. This is an evening of inspirational music featuring some of Pittsburgh’s finest singers. The concert will run through April 11, with a special tribute to Valetta O. Kelly on April 10 and Dr. Curtis R. Lewis on April 11 for their contributions to gospel music in Pittsburgh and beyond. Tickets are $20-$30. APRIL 15—Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 90 Port Perry Rd., North Versailles, will host a Pre-Pastoral Anniversary at 7 p.m. The anniversary is to celebrate 10 years under the leadership of Rev.
