Strip District MLK Mural unveiling

Moving the Lives of Kids (MLK Mural) created a new mural at 2852 Penn Ave., in the Strip District, in partnership with Neighbors in the Strip, and with a group of Pittsburgh youth who were paid to participate as part of their summer job experience through the Pittsburgh Summer Youth Employment Program.

Promoter moves forward with Strip District complaint

WILLIAM MARSHALL It has been nearly one year since event promoter William Marshall was denied access to Luke Wholey’s Restaurant & Entertainment Complex, the site where he planned to host a Charity Halloween Costume Party & Steeler Game Afterparty last October. While Marshall had signed a contract and agreement for use of the venue, Wholey told him two days prior to the event that it could no longer be held at his venue.
