A Brooklyn judge on Thursday ordered the release of five teens accused of raping an 18-year-old girl last week at a playground in what investigators have called an increasingly complicated case, reports the New York Daily News.
On Monday, two of the suspects claimed they had consensual sex with the teen after asking her 39-year-old dad for permission.
If they refused to give sexual favors, the women were subject to dangerous living situations that put them at risk of electrocution, lack of heat and mold consumption.
