I called for the Steelers to win and Terrelle Pryor to have a good game for the Oakland Raiders. We got half the deal. I have to be careful when I put that stuff out there. My predictions and projections can be very powerful! David Ortiz . . . aka “Big Papi” is just that. The World Series MVP was on base 19 times in 6 games with a batting percentage of 683, the highest in history behind Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Are you kidding me? And guess who got on base more? Yep, you guessed it – Barry Bonds! You forgot how great he was huh!?!?

The Steelers looked horrific in their game at Oakland from the get go.

More than three hours later, the competitive portion of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season likely followed suit. Stung on the first play from scrimmage and stumbling on the last, Pittsburgh’s 21-18 loss to the Oakland Raiders thwarted any progress the Steelers (2-5) made during a brief two-game winning streak that suggested perhaps there was a chance they could somehow dig out of an 0-4 start. Turns out, probably not. The same mistakes that dogged Pittsburgh during a winless September re-emerged in the Black Hole.

(AP Photo/Ben Margot) The Steelers find themselves on a mini win streak of two games. They’d love to extend that streak to 3 and keep things rolling. A trip to Oakland is up next and historically the Black and Gold have not fared well there. Being that it’s Halloween week, you can bet the crazies will be out in full force wearing Silver and Black. Will the Steelers have enough in them to put up a third straight win or will history repeat itself?
Hey now, all you sinners ,put your lights on, put your lights on. Hey now, all you lovers, put your lights on, put your lights on. Hey now, all you killers, put your lights on, put your lights on. Hey now, all you children, leave your lights on, you better leave your lights on. Cause there’s a monster living under my bed, whispering in my ear. There’s an angel, with a hand on my head She say I’ve got nothing to fear. (Santana. ‘Put Your Lights On’ lyrics by Erik Schrody)
