Finally… Steelers win a game

ANTONIO BROWN—Another big game Well, it finally happened. It had to happen eventually. The Steelers finally won their first game of the season with a 19-6 victory over the New York Jets, 3-3.

They’re winless through four games and off to their worst start since 1968, leaving them searching for answers. Ben Roethlisberger even declared the Steelers one of the league’s sorriest team after their last game two weeks ago.

An 8-8 finish in a year that had lofty expectations was a major disappointment for the players, coaches, ownership and of course the fans. There are many reasons the team underachieved in 2012; one of those reasons was a lack of leadership. Inside the locker room the team will have you believe that wasn’t the case but it’s hard to say otherwise. The Steelers started off strong and basically fell apart once Ben Roethlisberger was injured. A team with quality leadership wouldn’t allow that to happen.

Knowing this team and how they operate, that assertion seems a bit presumptuous.
