:10 Now all of you know I never mean any harm. As a matter of fact my intentions are only to help. So here are a couple of things to help you.

#1. Ladies if your wearing those skin tight black tights don’t look at us like we’re not supposed to look when you walk by. That’s why you put them on…yes it is…yes it is!

#2. L-I-S-T-E-N to me on this, the black tights of which we speak are not for everybody…they’re just not, honest!

#3. How in the world can we get the kids to pull their pants up when their walking hand in hand with their fathers and they got their pants down! C’mon man.

:09 As of the writing of this column, Tiger is four strokes back. I’ll go out on a limb and say he wins the British Open. Hell, I’ve been wrong once before in my life—ok twice, but I still say the refs gave the “Heat” the NBA Title! Neal…let it go, man. Ok, but I am just saying.

:08 I keep asking you to do it and I’ll keep asking until you do. Call the Pitt Athletic Department. Be soft and gentle, especially you 5th Avenue folks. And tell them they need to retire Sam “The Bam” Clancy’s uniform. Clancy is one of Pitt’s all time greatest players and without question is the man that changed Pitt basketball to the physical game it is today. :07 If you don’t have NBA-TV you need to get it. They’re showing you all the NBA summer league games and the future stars; and the non-stop action of the USA Olympic Team. And oh, by the way …the original Dream Team would beat this team by 10-15 points. This team has no answer for Magic, Jordan or Bird but most importantly absolutely no answer for Patrick Ewing, David Robinson and Sir Charles inside the paint!!

:03 You know how I was always talking bad about the Pittsburgh Pirates? Well those days are over. Your Pittsburgh Pirates are one game out of first place, 13 games over .500, have the league’s MVP and the park is jumping. Go to a game, enjoy it while you can. Speaking of the Pirates, and I was. Hats off to our main man at the Pirates’ office, Chaz Kellum. He gets it done and he gets it done right!!!
