Toy DriveDEC. 14—Port Authority of Allegheny County, Q92.9 FM and the US Marine Corps will host its annual Toys for Tots Drive from 5:30-9 a.m. at the Steel Plaza T Station, Sixth Avenue and Grant Street, Downtown. New, unwrapped toys or cash donations will be collected to bring holiday cheer to local needy children. There will a live radio broadcast from Q92.9 FM. Tutoring Training Session
DEC. 14—OASIS will host its OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring: An Hour A Week Can Change A Child’s Life program training session from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Macy’s Department Store, 6th floor, 400 Fifth Ave., Downtown. This session is for anyone 50 and over, who is interested in becoming a tutor for children in neighborhood schools. Materials, books and supplies will be provided. Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration
DEC. 15—The 100 Black Men of Western Pennsylvania Inc. will host its annual Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration at 12 p.m. at the Community College of Allegheny County, 808 Ridge Ave., North Side. Students will demonstrate their knowledge of the history and principles of kwanzaa. Wilkinsburg A’Caroling
DEC. 15—The Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation and the Greater Pittsburgh Area MAD DADS will host the Fourth Annual Wilkinsburg A’Caroling from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Greater Pittsburgh Area MAD DADS, Hamnett Square, Wilkinsburg. Breakfast/Lunch with Santa
DEC. 16—The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium will host Breakfast or Lunch with Santa at 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Zoo, One Wild Place, Highland Park. Children and adults will get to meet Santa, along with making holiday crafts, decorating cookies and meeting zoo animals. The event will also be held on Dec. 16 and the cost includes zoo admission. An Evening of Honors
DEC. 16—The Isaiah Project will host its Evening of Honors at 3 p.m. at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel, 125 W. Station Square Dr., Station Square. The evening will celebrate Rev. Christmas Party

Kids from various North Side neighborhoods will be given the opportunities to skate and mingle in an effort to reduce youth and gun violence.
