City Councilman Lavelle kicks off District 6 re-election campaign

PITTSBURGH CITY COUNCILMAN DANIEL LAVELLE
Pittsburgh Councilman Daniel Lavelle's official re-election campaign kickoff will take place at the his campaign HQ, 2203 Centre Avenue, on the corner of Centre and Kirkpatrick from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. today Feb. 18.
Councilman Lavelle is proud of the progress in the district that has been achieved by working together with so many tireless individuals and organizations. He knows none of it would be possible without the efforts of civic leaders.
Since 2010 as a councilmember and board member of the Urban Redevelopment Authority, the councilman has been instrumental in directing over $100 million dollars to economic development projects in Downtown, the Hill District, the North Side, Oakland and Uptown.
The councilman is also said he is proud of his legislative record of enacting a policy that advances social, economic and environmental justice in the city of Pittsburgh. The councilman truly appreciates the advocacy on behalf of so many critical issues and worthy causes that have made his legislative achievements possible.
Since taking office, the councilman has sponsored or supported legislation that promotes fairness, equity and opportunity for all Pittsburghers.
