The ladies were in full effect at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District.

This week I visited the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, CJ’s in the Strip District and the Ava Lounge in East Liberty.
My first stop was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District where everyone came out to get their party on for the weekend and DJ Blakk Steel was on the 1’s and 2’s.
My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where the city of Pittsburgh came out to dance the night away with the one and only Tee Jay on the 1’s and 2’s.
My next stop was the Ava Lounge in East Liberty where DJ Selecta held his monthly event called “Classic Material” featuring DJ Mike Jackson of WAMO 100.1FM.
My final destination was at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. where “The Royal Party” presented a bus trip for everyone to see President Barack Obama get sworn in for his second term in the White House. Watching the event on TV is one thing, but being there in person was much better. It was great to be a part of history.
