			<description><![CDATA[It's sad to read that such a quick study as Martin is leaving CNN. He's just the right RX needed for viewers such as myself who demand forensic reporting on a wide range of subjects. However, I'm not surprised that he's leaving. On some international issues, CNN has not demonstrated even-handedness , especially on African subjects, where CNN has had a tendency to view former colonies seeking economic independence through a Western prism. As for Martin, who is my answer to Rachel Maddow, a forum better suited to his independent thinking is public broadcasting. I could also see his turning to a radio format a la Susan Stamberg, "All Things Considered." He' just too independent a thinker for the commercial, say the right thing to conservative listeners, format]]></description>
