Seminar for Success
JAN. 28—LunaMetrics will host the Google Seminars for Success at the University Club, 123 University Place, Oakland. The seminar, which will run through Jan. 30, will explore ways to use Google Analytics to gather meaningful data, analyze it better and make one’s website perform better. Members’ Mixer
JAN. 29—The African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania will host its Members’ Mixer from 5-7 p.m. at the Senator John Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., Strip District. The event will be held at the “From Slavery to Freedom” exhibition. There will be a discussion about how Pittsburgh was a destination for freedom. Reservations are required by Jan. 25. Business Boot Camp
JAN. 30—The Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence and the African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania will host “Business Boot Camp: Understanding the Financial Condition of Your Business” from 8:30-11 a.m. at the Hill House Association, Kaufmann Center, 1825 Centre Ave., Hill District. Attendees will learn how to understand and stay on top of their business finances. Topics will include cash flow cycles, business growth and operating cycles, and breakeven points.
