For New Pittsburgh Courier
My first stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where birthday celebrations and old school music was in full effect. You have to come out to CJ’s because they have something for everyone to enjoy each week. I have to shout out the owner and wish KAREN a happy birthday. I am sorry I couldn’t make it, but I had another event I had to attend. May you have many more and keep doing your thing for the community.
My next stop was at the Carnegie Library Music Hall in Homestead to check out legendary singers Howard Hewett and Lenny Williams. This event came to the ’Burgh from Big Maine Productions and Upper Elechon Entertainment. I have to shout out Ms. Rose, Mike, Gene, Tracy Lee (WAMO 106.7 FM), Jemita, Hakeem and comedian T-Robe for putting on a great show. I also have to shout out my niece Nicole, Ms. Dee, Maria (WAMO 106.7 FM) and Dell Saunders for representin.’ Brotha Ash Productions was proud to be an official sponsor for this event.
My next stop was at Club Privilege in the Strip District where HOT 97 FM’s New York DJ Funk Master Flex gave the crowd a hyped party on the 1’s and 2’s. I have to shout out J-Kruz (WAMO 106.7 FM), DJ Kode Wred (WAMO 106.7F M) and DJ Matt G for getting the party started.
My next stop was at Matrix in Station Square where Exclusive Entertainment held it down by bringing in the one and only national recording artist DJ Biz Markie. He did his thing on the 1’s and 2’s and had the crowd on their feet. I have to also shout out Pittsburgh’s Club DJ of the Year “GQ” of WAMO 106.7 FM.
My final destination was at Questions in the Strip District where B. Marshall Productions and Matt Dillinger presented Pittsburgh Steeler Willie Parker with a birthday party and also brought in nationally known DJ Don Cannon. Of course members of the Steelers showed up to celebrate with their boy. Charlie Batch and Lammar Woodley were in attendance and the fans of Willie Parker filled the place to capacity.
You know Brotha Ash has A REAL CONNECTION to the community. Send all your party and event information to info@BrothaAshProductions.com and I’ll see you next week OUT AND ABOUT!
