Dance Alloy has announced that Greer A. Reed-Jones has joined the organization as director of education; as such she will be responsible for the Dance Alloy Theater School and outreach programs.

A Pittsburgh native, Reed-Jones began her early training with the Pittsburgh Black Theater Dance Ensemble. After high school graduation, she continued her dance studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and with the renowned Dance Theater of Harlem. Successfully completing the Certificate and Merit Scholarship Programs of the acclaimed Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, she joined the troupe’s repertory ensemble.
Greer-Jones later joined the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company as a contracted dancer, where she rose to principal dancer in her 10-year tenure, working closely with world-famous choreographers and directors, touring extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad.
