AUGUST 17—Unity Baptist Church, 1023 Talbot Ave., Braddock, will host their 73rd Annual Cantaloupe Sunday celebration from 12-4 p.m. Cantaloupe treats will be served to patients at four local hospitals by volunteers. Fellowship conference

AUGUST 21—Manna From On High Ministries, 416 Franklin St., East Pittsburgh, will host the United Gospel Love Fellowship Conference at 7:30 p.m. at the Doubletree Airport Hotel, 8402 University Blvd., Moon Township. This is a non-denominational conference that was developed to promote love, unity and fellowship among all people. The conference runs through Aug. 24 and will include workshops, a praise explosion and a family fun day. This event is free and open to the public. Back to school explosion

AUGUST 23—The Youth of Unity Baptist Church, 1023 Talbot Ave., Braddock, Pa. 15104 will host their 3rd Annual “Back to School Explosion” at 4 p.m.  The theme is “Get Praisin.’” This is a program of celebration with mime, dance, song and worship. Men’s prayer

ONGOING—Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, 2110 Andrew Dr., Wilkinsburg, will host “Watchmen On The Wall Morning Prayer” at 5 a.m. This is a morning prayer event to worship, praise, love God and bring men of all diversities and denominations together. Tai chi classes

ONGOING—The Health Ministry of East Liberty Presbyterian Church will offer tai chi classes from 10-11 a.m., 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. Judy Crow will be the instructor.
