| COURIER WALKS FOR THE CURE—An exhausted New Pittsburgh Courier team crossed the finish line at the Pittsburgh Race for the Cure 5K walk May 11 in 1:45 and was totally worn out. Team members included Assistant to the Publisher Stephan Broadus, Associate Editor C. Denise Johnson, Lifestyles Editor Debbie Norrell (a breast cancer survivor), Courier Archives committee volunteer Melissa Good and B-PEP coordinator Tim Stevens. More than 36,000 people participated in the event and even though the Courier team consisted of only five members this year they were able to raise $1,200 in the fight against breast cancer.
