Jackson presented with governor’s award
Kashawna Jackson of Sheridan, a participant in Employment, Advancement, Retention Network through the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Office of Community Services, received the 2008 Governor’s Achievement Award May 7 at the Pennsylvania Partners 24th annual Employment, Training & Education Conference at the Hershey Lodge, Hershey, Pa.
 

KASHAWNA JACKSON

   
This award is given annually to individuals who have excelled in Workforce Investment Act Youth, Adult and Dislocated Worker programs and in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families employment programs. Jackson, 30, was honored for her outstanding accomplishments and excellence in overcoming employment barriers.
