Legal forum

APRIL 9—The Women and Children’s Task Force will host “Ask the Professionals: A Free Legal Forum For Women” from 1-3 p.m. at the Social High of East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. Attendees will be able to pose questions and hear presentations from a panel of professionals on topics that include: finding and retaining a lawyer, child custody, housing, paternal rights and work-related issues. Revival service

APRIL 11—Creative Ministries Berachah Inc. and New Consolation Ministries International will host “Alpha Encounter: Establishing Kingdom in the Local Church” at 7 p.m. at 1422 Evans Ave., McKeesport. There will be a revival service hosted by Pastor John T. Davidson Jr. Pastors Calvin and Lorraine Williams will be special guests. And on April 13 there will be a Power Packed Morning Service at 11 a.m. For more information, call 412-672-6735.

Clothing drive

APRIL 12—One Vision Ministries of New Vision Community Church, 3534 Laketon Rd., Penn Hills, will host a free clothing drive for local children and adults from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Clothes and shoes will be accepted and should be clean and in good condition. Senior service

APRIL 13—Manna From On High Ministries, 416 Franklin St., East Pittsburgh, will host a senior service at 4 p.m. Elder Narsisus Smarr Short of Shelby, N.C., will be the guest speaker and the guest choir will be The New Jerusalem Holiness Men’s Choir. Outreach seminar

APRIL 13—Greater Works Outreach, 301 College Park Dr., Monroeville, will host a seminar at 7 p.m. The speakers will be pastors Gary Mitrik and Eric Butler. The seminar will run through April 15. Spring revival

APRIL 14—St. John The Evangelist Baptist Church, 4537 Chatsworth Ave., Hazelwood, will host a Spring Revival at 7 p.m. Reverend Jerry M. Carter Jr. of Calvary Baptist Church in New Jersey will be the guest evangelist. The revival will run through April 16, the same time each day. Men’s prayer

APRIL 15—Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, 2110 Andrew Dr., Wilkinsburg, will host “Watchmen On The Wall Morning Prayer” at 5 a.m. This is a morning prayer event to worship, praise, love God and bring men of all diversities and denominations together. Tai chi classes

APRIL 15—The Health Ministry of East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty, will offer spring tai chi classes from 10-11 a.m. Judy Crow will be the instructor. Class will be offered every Tuesday and will also be offered from 6-7 p.m. A donation of $3 per class is requested. It is open to the public. For more information, call Rev. Men’s Bible study

ONGOING—Bethel AME Church, 2720 Webster Ave., Hill District, will host their “Men’s Bible Study” every Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Christian Education room. The men will learn about the Bible and learn how it relates to every day life. All men are welcome. For more information, call 423-683-2160.
