Dr. Pinkie Andrews, 66, of Pittsburgh passed away Wednesday Oct. 11.

Dr. Pinkie Andrews, 66, of Pittsburgh passed away Wednesday Oct. 11.
Mother of Brett Russell Haynes-Andrews and Kayode Balewa Familoni and a widely traveled political activist, Dr. Andrews worked for several colleges in Pittsburgh. She also worked for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the Male Mentoring Program at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and Reizenstein School.
A memorial service will be held at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 271 Paulson Ave. on Friday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m.
